1. Version 1.3.0

   Current13 August 2026

Article alerts, welcome email & a cleaner account page

   கட்டுரை அறிவிப்புகள், வரவேற்பு மின்னஞ்சல் மற்றும் புதிய கணக்கு பக்கம்

   New

   • Push notification when a new article is published — tapping it opens the article.
   • Notification and email preferences apply to every device you sign in on.
   • Welcome email for new sign-ups, covering features, how to opt in or out of emails and notifications, account deletion and the support address.
   • New-article emails are now on by default for every sign-up, including Google and Apple — you can switch them off any time in Account settings.
   • Refreshed Account page: your profile at a glance, grouped notification, email, offline and security settings.
   • This release-notes page, linked from the About page.

   Fixes

   • Google sign-in on Android no longer fails with a browser error — sign-in now returns cleanly to the app.
   • Article notification settings no longer spin forever; a Register this device button is shown when a device needs re-registering.
   • Google sign-in always shows the account chooser, so multiple accounts are easy to switch.
   • App store links moved off the home page — Android and iOS links now live on the About and app pages only.

2. Version 1.2.0

   11 August 2026

   Native experience & sign-up fixes

   நேட்டிவ் அனுபவம் மற்றும் பதிவு சரிசெய்தல்கள்

   New & native

   • Verse of the Day notification on iOS and Android, with a time you choose in Account settings.
   • Tapping a notification opens that exact verse inside the app.
   • Home-screen widgets show the verse of the day and this week's reading plan.
   • Offline Bible: all 66 books are cached on the device, so reading works in airplane mode.
   • Branded launch screen while the app decides between the offline reader and the live site.
   • Sign in with Apple, alongside Google and email.
   • In-app account deletion from the Account page.

   Fixes

   • Google and Apple sign-in now complete inside the app instead of stranding you in the browser.
   • Cancel / go back options added to the native sign-in confirmation screen.
   • Layout no longer shifts after signing in — no reload needed.
   • Saved verses, highlights, notes and reading-plan progress persist across sessions for signed-in accounts.
   • Faster app start-up and quieter offline cache handling on iOS.
   • Safe-area spacing corrected on iPhone (no gap at the top).

3. Version 1.1.0

   20 June 2026

   Search, articles & reading plan

   தேடல், கட்டுரைகள் மற்றும் வாசிப்புத் திட்டம்

   New

   • Contextual search as the default — multi-word and topic searches (deliverance, fear, power) find related verses.
   • Reference shortcuts: John 3:16, Psalms 91,1 and Psalms 91.1 all jump straight to the verse.
   • Articles now search alongside Scripture, with categories, publish dates and a New badge.
   • One-year reading plan with progress tracking, plus Read Later.
   • Verse actions: highlight, copy, share, save and personal notes.
   • Spotify podcast player on the home page.

   Fixes

   • Search cancels cleanly when a new search starts.
   • English (NKJV) mode now translates book names and headings too.
   • Insight panel text no longer overflows on small phones.
